Today when I used my trolley jack it wouldnt hold the cars weght, it kept slowly sinking back down. Does this mean that its knackered or does it need topping up with oil, if so what type of oil do i need and where will i get it ???

yes prob need topping up with oil, hydraulic oil i think
or mayb a seal has gone i had 2 trolly jacks 1 that was my dads and 1 that was my grandads they both leaked oil because the seals had gone

no signs of oil leakage, will try toping up oil cos I aint messing about with that windy thing in boot

And anyway there's certainly no way you should be paying that sort off money out for this type of oil...your not going to be using that amount in a millennium never mind a few weeks...buy a litre of hydrolastic oil ..which is the same stuff...cost = £6.00 ish ..all right.
