had a small knock tonight, went to reverse out of my space and looked over both shoulders, nothing, reversed out and an elderly couple came past me and hit me, they were going far too fast which they admitted at first! anyway my rear bumper is cracked and scratched to ******y, if im found at fault i will dispute it and try and get hold of the cctv footage, we will see, im sad! will try an get pics tomorrow

mate could be worse think positive rear bumper not that expensive just pain of the insurance most people will admit at scene and deny to insurance you should of recored them saying it,but from an insurance point of view it might be your fault,im not saying it is but there quite clear cut

no i know it will be on paper my fault but they were going too fast, i did tell them if they need to they can contact asda and get the cctv tape

it happend to me i reversed out of my space nearly straight just about to put into 1st pull away some one else just started driving out og there space and hit the side of my rear bumper it was gonna be 50/50,sounds bad but you need to say you reversed out abit seen the car so you stopped and was STATIOANRY then they hit you if you were both moving its knock for knock in there eyes and uless the people say it was our fault 100% which they never do

if your reversing onto a main road then your 100% liable, if your on a car park, then its 50/50

Sorry to hear this dave, hope they dont get stroppy about it and infact if they said they were going too fast why didnt they just agree to settle up in cash to save going through insurance companys

prob cant offord to pay what....700? for a bumper and then to have it painted...cheaper for them to let it be dicided its my fault....

ohwell i just hope my insurance doesnt go up too much, NCD is protected

If you want the cctv footage get a solicitor to request for you asap before they wipe over it, they won't release it to general public because of data protection.

mate don't pay £700 pound,i had a bump in my front bumper and ford and another garage said its beyond repair som guy fixed it sparayed it and sparayed the mess i made on the back bumper for £150
