Does anyone know how hard it is to fit a fuel pump to a signum 2.2 direct petrol? I have seen one on ebay but need to know if im able to fit it or if it needs specialist tools, or if its in-tank or remote?
Cheers

easy peaszy, just a few bolts realy.
do you know where it is?
I would hold off buying 1 just yet as over the past couple of days i remember reading that vectra fuel pumps have to be programmed to the car at local dealers but i'm not sure whether it was the petrol or diesel versions
Just hold off until u get this confirmed as i'm sure someone will be able to confirm this or not
oh ok...yeh i will do! wasnt going to do it tonight anyhoo. Just really annoying as ive had a new ecu, swirl actuator and fuel regulator and this is the what i hope to be the final hurdle! but im running out of money! so need it done cheaply I really want my car back!
You might be ok as the thread i was reading was on a diesel

had mine done 10 weeks ago you do have to have it set up on a comp, ive gone the other way fuel pump 1st then fuel rail sensor now am told it needs the regulator but hopefully that will be the end of it,make sure you goet the one for your car ie reg number, there are more than 1 for the 2.2 direct hope this helps.rick
hey thanks for the responses!
I bought one today on Ebay for £300 so not too bad! comes with 12 months garuntee too. Am going to attempt to fit it myself with my brother. i changed the regulator a little while ago before i had the new ecu! so wont need that hopefully!
Fingers crossed this is the last hurdle and i can have my car back
how much was the regulator
