It's version 10/2007.

I would but I hear Traffic Master isn't as good as TMC which it supercedes in the new firmware I believe.
Be nice to have updated maps though without losing TMC if thats possible, so do you need the new firmware to run the newer maps.
Any other upgrades/differences in the new firmware??
No firmware does not affect maps. and vice versa.
I use the 04/04/2007 Update / firmware for my 2005 CD70 and use 2009 maps, although this map isn't much different from the 2007 one!!
Just to add to what Robsey has already said, the firmware and software are indeed two seperate beasts.
Firmware actually runs the CD70 Navi headunit.
Software is the mapping application and maps.
As far as the whole TrafficMaster/TMC thing goes, prior to applying this update my CD70 Navi was running on the original 2004 firmware. The dynamic routing was provided via TMC not TrafficMaster and still is after this 10/2007 update.
I've had a quick shufti through the handbook and I think I can pretty safely say TrafficMaster has nothing to do with the CD70 Navi (and never has).
I'd be interested, are you posting it to people for them to apply and post back to you? What are you charging (sorry, what is the suggested donation)...?
Just an idea....might be small enough to send via email and put onto CD
Just to cover myself (we all know the official line on copying software etc) I'm afraid copying the disc and sending it to others would be in breach of the copyright restrictions as printed on the disc, so I must say no to that idea I'm afraid.
However, as has been already started in the ICE forum for previous versions, if enough people are happy with the idea I would be happy enough to send the disc to someone else to use, then they can send it to the next person and so on. Given it only cost about a fiver to purchase from Vx in the first place I think each 'sender on' can't really complain if it only costs them postage to the next user ?
Thoughts ?
Bar the legailities, there have been posts that a copied disk does not work properly and you could turn the radio into a doorstop.
