    Default My vectra ex police sri doesnt actually exist!

    Just bought an ex police 55plate vectra Sri 3.2 estate in white, gone to insure it today and insurance have told me this this model / year only exist on the elite but yet my V5 says its an SRI and insurance cant insure it as this isnt an option on there computer and are telling me its been registered with the dvla wrong :-0

    any advice?

    use some one like flux and say its had a legit engine conversion

    someone had this problem fairly recently, they can enter the veichle details manually, ill have a look for the thread.

    i asked insurance if i just insured it anyway as something similar and the said insurance would be void if had accident and they would check when they request to see al documents for vehicle! gonna do a search on here see what it throws up!

    had the same problem when i tried to insure my xe nova, flux or any specialist will understand

    Yes use a specialist like flux or peter james but I would not say it is a legit engine conversion. For a start its just not ture, but would just say it is ex police and so is a different spec....
