Not heard of them, but was just about put a thread up asking if anyone had heard of prestivo tyres, apparently they're made by yokohama.
ive been offered some 235/35/19"s for £60 each brand new, just wondering what they were like
All this sale's pitch " made by michelin , conti etc " is utter b**lsh*t and is only a selling point . With tyres like everything else you get what you pay for Skoda's are made by VW/Audi but there not VW or Audis are they.....same case with tyres
back to topic..... has anybody even heard of primewell tyres???????????????
Yes and they're a cheap and cheerful no grip super slider tyre. Perfectly adequate if you've got 19's on something your not going to be hitting silly speeds in.
But as mentioned you do get what you pay for (my mate works in the tyre industry) so if you're a weekend warrior buy some good rubber..
Why.... your buying the tyres for you not the next person.
As we're coming into spring/summer cheaper tyres are ok because they don't have to deal with the cold as much, fair enough if you drive like a lunatic but then you should be on a track and not risking innocent lives on the roads. I drive up and down the motorway every day so don't mind buying cheap rubber, But for my weekend toy I'll not worry about spending £250 for a pair of tyres that will only last 1000 miles.
Just my opnion.
