number plates advice pls

HI Ya guys,

I have oredered my personal plate but I want to get some plates made up.

the plate has is of the format XX XXX I want to get the starndar size spacing however I want to shorten the plate at the left and right due to having less on it.

Where can I get these made up? i.e online and what size?

I looked at showplates.co.uk but unsure of the size and to be honest thought it is eaier to ask then go out side and measure LOL Lazy Bas*ard

this is one place ... but I used another company that was at British GP last year.

Something different, get some old style front motorcycle curved ones made up, the ones that used to sit above the mudguard, I doub't they would be road legal, but might have an individual look for shows.

What is the smallest I can get away with legally?

I've looked at the DVLA and come up with 338mm x 101mm for a reg of XX XXX.

Anyone got any comments?

You can shorten the plate Martyn but spacing must be to D.O.T. approved setting.

Get the plate made up, ask for it to be centralised then trim each edge to shorten
