    Default Broken air vent

    Hi guys. I just found out that one of my air vents is partly broken. Does anyone know a quick fix for this or at least how they could be uninstalled?

    hi mate easy fix if you dont mind it permanantly closed (single strip i mean) open ur vent, get a paper clip and bend the end over into a small L shape. put 2 drops of glue one either side os the vent strip, and pull back with the paper clip. there you go

    I didnt want to mess around takin it out lol, in my mind if it was put together you can take it apart! sorry dont know how to take it out but im sure some-one on on here will. Could always get one from scrapyard and practice?

    Remove the dash strip underneath it and it unscrews

    Well, after 2 attempts of glueing the broken thing, I decided I can do a minor swap. As the left vent from display isn't in use anymore due to my phone holder, I thought I can put it to better use. Now it's all back to normal. For how long, only god knows. This is a 2005 air vent. Maybe they've improved them along the way. If anyone with a 2007-2008 Vectra cares to investigate...
