Default working on my nob - removal?

hi people, just got my irmy gear knob from irmscher uk

how do i get my standard one off? it says on the back of the irmy packer (well pictures) a hacksaw as step one

im guessing this means cut it off somehow?

why cant they just make it unscrew like normal cars lol

can anyone whos fitted the irmscher nob give me a quick run down of the removal process please? cheers

    as above mate.

Apparently it's a bit of a pain getting it off but once it is off then the Irmy one is quite easy to fit

Don't forget the pics when you're done

    .

No the shaft needs to remain as the irmy gear knob sits on the shaft , have a look at you your new knob you will see the shape of the shaft it sits on , dont cut through the actual shaft!

Don't cut the stick mate. Just the gear head and 'peel' it apart. Or as Kman said try and give it a tug
