bit of hastle today

got the reminder for the road tax at the beginning of the week so thought I'm off Friday will sort it then, coughed up the £135 and went into town got to the post office and lined up and waited for 15 mins got to the counter to be asked where is your MOT certificate?? my answer was I don't have one car is not three years old till (then I thought mmmmmmmm)don't worry I will get it

came back home and checked the log book and it is 3 years old on the 26 of this month (now unable to tax car without MOT)

went down to local garage to book in the car (expecting can't do it till next week at the earliest!!)and they said your in luck we have just had a cancellation can you wait now?? thought well why not!!!!

45 mins later bloke came out with a certificate all ok

total cost £35
so then quick rush into town got the tax and all sorted
not such a bad afternoon in the end I suppose 12 month tax and test for £170

I'll be there and I have told the car to behave this time (but will put some tools in the boot to make sure!!!!)

Did you feel the change? when i get near MOT time, the car feels oldish and I feel it might fail, but once it goes through ok, when I get back in it it feels all good again, is it only me or do others feel the same?

can't afford to change it just yet have only recently spashed out on a new truck(new to me) that cost me enough so this car has to do another 11/12 months and then may keep it if its still ok and trade the misses focus in for a fresh vec,but she wants another vec b sri diesel in black (she loved the old one till it was written off not our fault!!) so I don't know what to do
