    Default Cheap tyres

Anyone got a recommendation of somewhere which will do me a couple of tyres for a decent price?

Wheels are standard 16" alloys (from Elegance/SXi)

Don't want anything too cheap, but don't need top of the range either.

Nationwide are doing a pair of Avons for £180 fitted, this a good buy? Reasonable tyres?

I recently got two Bridgestones for that much (£92 each)

Compared to over £135 each at Hi-Q, National and Chemix.

The cheapest online price was £124 each (blackcircles / etyres)

Find yourself a local tyre place that only sells tyre's, no exhausts, battery's or other rubbish , JUST tyre's. Professional drivers tend to know where these places are locally.

You could get a couple of 18" top spec tyres for that price...

I only Vredestein Ultracs, so can't comment on any other brand, but you should be able to get them for that price easily enough...

I bought a pair of Hankook K415's 215/55/16 for approx £52 per tyre from Camskill.

    They get a good review.

Just ordered a pair of Kumho KU31s from blackcircles.com.

To be fitted by my local Formula One, £158 all inc.

Seems like a reasonable deal, had to make a quick decision as I'm currently driving round on the space saver...

Lots of people here have mentioned them and apparently Audi fit them as standard on a lot of their models so they must be decent enough.

I've currently got Michelns on the front, which are only about 30% worn. Was going to leave them as they are and put the new ones on the back but the guy from blackcircles said that the Kumho's should be put on the front. Any idea why?

Not sure what the reason, but cant think off anything sensible as to why they need to go on the front.

Also new tyres should always go on the rear and the part worn rears moved to the front.

Edit: Yes leave your michelins on the front
