Default parted the vec for insignia

Hi all just got my new insignia 2.0 160 cdti on friday in metro blue and have been messing around with it all weekend but it goes back tomorrow for some recall work!
Hi to everyone. Ive not been around for a while so hello to anyone who knows me. My engine is the ecoflex but im only getting between 35-40 mpg but the dealer assures me it needs running in (up to 8k miles) fingers crossed for some good mpg!. Has anyone else seen poor mpg with the Ecoflex? Any onther tips or concerns or things to look out for?!?!?

I had one for a week not long ago & although it wasn't as economical as the Vec it was a bit better than 35-40 mpg, it was 95% motorway driving though - lovely car, very smooth & linear power delivery, I would've been very happy to keep it, mine seemed very old fashioned when I gave the Insignia back

Pics will go up at the weekend. Also forgot to mention its the Elite Ecoflex DVD Nav with Bluetooth, Front and rear park assist, Front camera system, lane change alert system and DAB infinity sound system. I also have rear cargo net, rear blinds, AFL and Dual climate with Heated/ventaleted seats and alloy upgrade.
    Fantastic car!

Yes mate the infinity sound system is a costly extra along with the upgrade from cd500 nav to dvd 800 nav and the dab is extra also. The upgrade means DVD with cd and MPS compatibility, Digital audio broadcast with radio text and increase wattage and better speakers. It is a great system and also has the aux-in and usb connection.

Most of it was options mate - the front camera system was aprox £850 and the infinity nav about £1000, Dab I think was £200 and the bluetooth about £350 i think but the elite was well spec as standard.
