    Default 18" Snowflake tyre pressures

Hi - just picked myself up a set of 18" Snowflakes with Conti's on. Can anyone tell me what the ideal tyre pressures should be? Car is an 08' plate CDTi SRI 150 - never more than 2 adults and 1 baby on board

Also I bought these knowing full well that they might need refurbishing and on them they have strange looking bubbling on the rims - it's very small bubbles and the paintwork has not cracked / split or exposes the metal rim underneath anywhere at all.

I'm wondering what this can be? Never seen anything like this before, as far as I'm aware the wheels came of a 2008 VXR Astra so doesn't look like they've been poorly refurbished in the past - but I could be wrong.

    Thanks - J.

Think I may have found a guide - in the handbook for the saloon with 225/45/18 it recommends 32psi all round.

Now the wheels I have are from a VXR Astra which have 225/40/18, the Vectra VXR has 235/40/18 as standard.

So will give 32psi a go and see how it feels.

As for the little dimples on the paintwork on the rims ... anyone any ideas?

Right, well I'm happy with my Snowflakes for now ... the ride feels pretty much the same as it did with standard wheels on. What do people normally do with regards to the speedo being slightly out - anything?

I run exactly same size and go with 38psi all round. The bigger the tyre and smaller profile the higher the psi is. I run the gf megane with 15" on 32psi

The speedo should not be that far out as the bigger the wheel gets the lower the profile of the tyre so the overall diameter remains almost the same
