We should all chip in for a Vectra-C forum tool, would be pence each and then we can post it around to each other!

If there is an engineer on site they could borrow my adapter and machine a load. Maybe the club shop could then buy a load and sell in the shop. The actual rewind tool can be bought in Halfords. You can mod the halfords one to fit, all you do is file the pins and it works perfectly.

Think the tool is 20 odd quid. There is a guy on ebay that sells the same tool and the vec C adapter for cheaper than the adapter from him and the tool from halfords.

If you buy the laser tool you can then buy an adaptor to fit it, average costs seem to be around £40.....20 members need their brakes doing....£2 quid each....plus postage costs....

I would be happy putting in £5 or more, do we think this could work? if so how could we go about it, after all we would all benefit from it. It would just rely on the honesty of the forum members.
