    Default Facelift project

hi all not sure this is in the right section, when i collected my car from garage i stripped the damaged area inner wing was fine just cosmetic really, you have to take side skirts off to remove wings which is really simple 5 min job a side, the inner wings are slightly different once slam panel fitted you have to drill one hole for headlight clip that pushes through slam panel into inner wing I have upload a pic off o/s you can see the black clip that fits through slam panel and through hole in wing spent some lining up the wing luckily my dad has a vectra c so can look at his through the build just waiting to get parts have front bumper but that will go on last

Looking good, Can I ask though. Why dont you get all the bits painted and then fit them?

Fair enough, I'm gonna hopefully get the parts in black but if not will have them all painted first.

good luck mate rang about 25 people all front ends gone i thought getting parts would be easy, some people have spent months getting parts if you get bored ring a few local places and through ebay i bet you will struggle i understand what you mean about painting first but your gonna have to treat the parts so carefully if you get one little scratch after you just spent an hour lining wing up and it has to come off but i've probally done it different to others i found theres a few things needed not mention in previous threads that need doing to you can pm me or ring when you do it,when i had the idea of getting all the parts in same colour it was soon smashed,i have paid £225 for front bumper slam pannel and wing and got grill and chrome fog surrounds 1 person wanted £525 for same parts

£1400 , wouldnt it be cheaper to fix your car and px it against a facelift version.

Seems alot of hassle and expense just to update the front of your car
