    Default Falkland performance Dyno Run!!

I have had a few problems this week with loosing boost presure and power. I took it to Falkland performance in Glenrothes today to try to show them the problem. Decided to do a power run to astablish the problems. As they brought it in the operator give it a quick rev, turbo clearly working...
    They set the car up.
1st run clearly down on power. (ill take some pics of the run and post shorlty). As a result 2 faults found, Turbocharger bypass valve malfunction, Catalyst system effiency (bank 1) too low.
The second is due to the car running a decat.
He checked boot pressure. 0.5 bar. below standard

I expalined that the fault can some times be cleared by turning off and starting again. so he did, car started a quick rev showing now working.
2nd Run clearly up on 1st however turbo pressure comes in spiking all over the shop to a peak of 2.1bar!! and cutting out at 4100rpm.

Anyway car is going back there on wednesday as we ran out of time today to try find the fault and sort the problems. I will update as i progress this problem. Dyno runs will follow when i get the pics together.

We all had a meet there a while ago, my 2.0T which had a superchip's map on it at the time was 180Bhp but the map did not take to my car so it was removed. Signumboy's signum ran 215-220 i think and that was with BSR stage 1 - so your second run must be pretty close to what your expecting power wise??

Finger's crossed you get your issue's sorted though as it seem's like you have a quick car in the making

One thing to note mate is that Falkland performance's figures are sometimes lower than other places
