to stop it shutting down your machine, go to start then in the run box type shutdown -a

This will give you time to fix the virus

What antivirus are you running?

Download and run "super anti spyware" in additon to any antivirus you have.

If that fails download "hijackthis" and then post the logs on here and ill take a look.

As mentioned in the link posted it looks to me like the msblaster virus. All modern antivirus will pick it up.

was kaspersky,but it looks like it stopped workin,lol i`ll fix it now i know what it is,i thort windows had gone tits up again

Kaspersky picks that virus up, i've had mine find it very easily. Somehow your antivirus must have been turned off or disabled to allow it to appear.

can you not get Kaspersky to restart and run its antivirus to eliminate it?
