Wiper problems

Got a problem with my wipers at the mo and not sure what to check -

In the cold starts I have a problem where the wipers do what they want. Wash doesn't work, intermittent doesn't work, they don't park and. Saturday it resolved after about half an hour driving. Not sure whether it would have resolved this morning as I wasn't driving for more than 5 mins.

Any suggestions??

My currrent 'experiment' - using 100% screenwash. Certainly worked today at -2 degrees.

Cheers - might have helped if I had looked in the technical section first

Mind you - went to fill up the washer bottle on Saturday prior to driving back from Italy and the screenwash had frozen in the bottle
