    Default First Time French Camping

    All,

After my recent Business Trip to Paris, my GCSE French wasn't as bad as I thought it was. With this in mind we would like to do some Camping in France, but don't know where to start.

My partner is into luxury Camping so a site must have quality toilets/shower blocks etc. I have a 2 year old also so it musn't be hours and hours of driving but also have plenty of facilties for kids and adults alike. It would also help if the employees on the site spoke some English, or understand pidgeon French.

With these very vague requirements in mind does anyone have any suggestions on sites I should look at, any experiences with any quality sites.

We will be taking our own tent, so will just need an electric hook up

    Cheers

Fine thanks, your instructions were spot on, found the bus, found the train station, but a ticket for the RER from a French lady, got a taxi from Gare du Nord to my survey.

Didi the whole thing back the other way as well with out a hitch

    Cheers for your help

    Take a look here:
    http://www.lecampdeflorence.com/

It's owned and run by my Wife's cousin and her husband. In a beautiful part of South West france, very peaceful and nicely maintained. Even though we're family, I'd recommend it to anyone.
