They seems quite cheap , and are mobile fitters, and only need a days notice to come to yu and fit your choice of tyres?

Yup, couple of my old workmates set up a franchise of this in North Scotland, but the driving distances meant the money wasn't enoughto cover all their costs enough. The company is sound though, been going for years and has VBH on their webpage...
I've used them many times, as have many of my work colleagues, as we used to get a discount. Excellent service from the Dunstable branch, mind you it was always the same fella I dealt with, a posh chap who mentioned he had a Mk2 Golf GTi 16v and was fitting all sorts of bits (brakes, subframe, engine) from Audi TTs. I don't use them anymore as their prices aren't quite as competitive, but if you like their price then go for it.
The only complaint I have about them is when you order a particular make of tyre, they *might* tell you they're not in stock but magically have an equivalent tyre that is £10 dearer.
Last year I ordered 2 Dunlop SP Sports for my Dads Astra, then on the morning they were due to come out and fit them they phoned and said they didn't have any SP Sports, but could fit the SP Sport 200 instead for £20 more. Either that or he'd have to wait 2 weeks for the SP Sports. It's a pity that I didn't answer the phone, else I would have told them that seeing as the fault was at their end they should pay the difference and not advertise tyres they don't stock.
Have heard them do this to other people as well.
In short CONFIRM they actually have the tyres you've ordered and don't let them try and sell you dearer ones if they haven't.
the branch in leeds talk rubbish, we tryed using them a couple of weeks ago at night to help out a green flag customer who had a blow out on their 06 honda accord on the M1 in leeds. about 5 calls later we were still no further forward, at one point the guy said that if he put the wrong 225/45/17 on the honda then it would damage the suspension?????? wtf. we ended up recovering the disapointed customer back down south.
nearly used them rang around everywhere for tyres on her car and they price matched said 50 per tyre the same as every other car garage in the area. didnt use them in the end because there is a garage about a minute away from me,
Whenever I have looked at their prices, they are always more expensive than Blackcricles.
Does having tyre pressure monitoring system affect these guys? or are tyres easy to replace and keep the same valve and transmitter device?
