First day off in a while, so spent alot of today browsing the Vectra-C web site (fantastic site, some of your cars look awesome guys) and all i can say is, O M G,,,,,,,,, why on earth did i not read all of this BEFORE buying my Vectra. I have seen alot of these around, so figured they were pretty reliable, but after reading all about EGR, DMF, SPRINGS, ETC ETC, it looks like i have a ticking time bomb here, To make matters worse, mine is a high mileage car, now where did i put the number for Autotrader? before my bank balance empties,,,,,,,,,,,,

They break and are expensive to repair and are badly designed. Vauxhall are muppets and dont know how to do their jobs. Get out quick mate sell it and buy somethin better dont buy a vauxhall or ford before u regret ever buying it loki i do and have spent thousands repairing a car thats worthless!

Just because youve had a bad experience with your dealer or the person that repairs you car bearing in mind its a taxi and i know what they go through because i own one!!!!! Doesnt mean you can start slagging vauxhall off in general....!!!!!

My cars only driven by me and it isnt driven hard, its serviced by dealers and fixed by dealers using genuine vx parts, except this time i decided to fix it myself, as i cant afford for them to fix it this time so i think i can slag them if ive always used them for servicing,repairs and parts and havent atuck cheap parts on it or used cheap mechanics

hate to break it to you, but it's the same with all mass produced cars these days. whatever you buy, you're taking a gamble. a good example will be as good as anything, a bad one will cost you dear. the bad ones are a small minority thankfully.
on the forum you only hear of the inevitable complaints, as people are looking for help.

all i can say is if you look after your as good as you say your obviously either a rubbish driver or just unlucky and buy crap cars mate....all cars have problems simple as...if you goto vx all the time then more fool your sir/madam and your wondering why its been so expensive wtf?

Well not all dealers are useless some are some aint, my mate runs an 04 plate 1.9 cdti vectra as a cab done 190000 now hardly any problems just usual wear and tear.

think of it liki this mate.... do you like the car? did you get a bargain and happy with the price? do you look ate it and yes thats mine its lush? if yes to all this then dont worry mate im sure you'll get your money out of it, and if lucky you'll never have to do anything to it, mines been spot on until tonight lol think someone jinxed me lol wipers wont park up correctly...
