just a thought but my washer bottle actually works so surely its not a earth problem?????????????????????????
as per pm, the earth problem just relates to the self-park cam/switch so nothing to do with the washers.
Plasma's Tech2 services are now open and able to provide services
reet gonna tackle this job tomorrow if weather permits.... can i use copper grease rather than grease shown in how2???? as its all i have......

hi mat cheers but that i believe refers to when you wipe screen but wipers are frozen to screen causing the linkage to end up mis aligned, my went faulty when on the move for no reason and like plasma has pointed out its the earth strap with the motor itself, the kid who posted the how2 then after fitting new strap fillsand lubrictates everything with a grease which i havent got therefore wondering i can use copper grease, if you think it maybe another problem i'd appreciate your advice, thanks matelol love the little car

I had the same problem of the wipers stopping at the top of the screen rather than the bottom where they usually sit.I have read all the post that was saying it is the motor or the linkage but i took it to my mate who tinkers with cars and asked him to have a look at it .
He got me to put on the window wipers on while he held down the wipers at the correct parking position were they should be and that has fixed the fault. The wipers are now working perfect so mabay worth giving it a try to anyone with this fault before replacing the motor.
Looks like I'm doing this job this weekend
