    Unhappy well gutted

    well needed cv boot doing before christmas but got told it would last, in all fairness it did till yesterday, while driving to a mates all of a sudden the loudest whine,clunking and a sound of metal grinding started so had to turn back round now im off the road till it gets sorted, got a few vids if ya want a listen.....

    im now thinking have i made things worse by driving it over christmas, what is the worst damage that i could have done by driving it ?.

    sounds well bad, 1st one sounded like brakes noise to me, 2nd one sounded like bearing but i aint a mechanic, hope you sort it and dont cost a lot mate?? good luck
