    £599.99

Notice the change lower end ....... pulls a lot smoother into the 2000/2500 rpm range.

Was that for manifold only or did it include EGR & actuator motor?

    £191 for the Manifold.

Bad news though ....... into town and smoke coming from drivers side of the bonnet. Not loads but enough, garage shut but car been left for Monday. Coming from rear drivers side of engine around black cylinder with pipes on copper coloured pipe coming out of it?

    Arrghhh!!

The Arnold Clark parts dept. in Stirling quoted £154.00 inc VAT for the manifold when I asked them last week. I dont need one yet but thought Id ask anyway.

my friend needs a new manifold long story but the coolant pipe on top had snapped so tried to get the egr off and its well and truly stuck on there so much so that the hole for the bolt that holds the egr to the manifold snapped off when my friend put (hammered) a screwdriver between them to try prize them appart, so he needs a new manifold and egr if the manifold is £154 how much is a egr and is it really a £400 labour job to fit it, i took my one off on a 2.2 dti i had and put it back together ok.
my friends car is a 2002 2.0 dti and looks the same so if i can get the parts cheap enough it shouldnt be to bad
