    Default Rear bumper been nudged?

Open my boot today whilst out working and notice that it doesnt quite line up on the right hand side, it juts out a tad from the rear light by about 4mm and is slightly away from the body where it should be resting.

I dont see a how2 for rear bumper removal. I plan to take it off on sunday and check it. Anyone point me in the direction for a previoud thread or have info on removal please.

Thanks. It may be just 4mm but i know its there and not lining up properly and has giving the right raving ump all day long.

Have a quick look either side of the number plate, see if there are any mysterious lumps where the brackets have pushed through. A sure tell tale!

Checked around for any marks whatsoever and didnt see any. I'm hoping its just where there refitted my bumper after the respray, but i thought i would have seen it not 100% when i checked it over. I'm thinking it may be a clip or something that needs to be hooked under and its sitting over instead. Hope its something like that.

    Dean, bumper removal..

take out both rear light clusters..
remove torx screws from rear of rear wheelarch liners..
remove 2 x torx screws from up in top of no. plate aperture.
be really brave as all that holds it in now is friction fit clips all round..Start one side and push your arm up behind the wheelarch liner and push the bumper outwarsds from the car, it will start to snap out..be very careful as you can tear the bumper.. work your way to the back of the car on both sides, forcing it out of the clips. Now undo the clips in the empty light holes..

Under the bumper are two stays.. remove these now..

Now pull bumper out of friction fitting accross the boot hole..

    disconnect the no.plate lamp wiring..

    bumper is now off..
