A motorist has been find for blowing his nose while waiting in traffic, what next,getting fined for sneezing cos I closed my eyes.
Cops,,,, never there when you need them but always jump on the motorest easy target they make me
the copper wants shooting
Surely this could only happen in Scotland (and America) ?

the cop is the same one that fined a guy for litterdropping....... when the guy dropped a tenner by mistake

thats just not doing his job. He should be dealt with by the police for bringing the force into disrepute.

Equally, it is unusual for a defence lawyer to advise to pay the fine before proceeding any further; makes me wonder if there is more to this than being reported (which wouldn't surprise me!)
More than likely the driver failed to proceed when the traffic had cleared
Ironically last night I stopped on the hard shoulder of the M74 (also to blow my nose) making sure the location I used had good visibilty and parking next to an emergency phone
I then noticed a traffic car pull up behind me
They asked if I needed assistance, explained why I had stopped, and they left promptly!
Hmmm yeah... wonder if he was doing a 'footballers sneeze' out the window and it landed on the cop car
That would just about be right to get arrested
he wasnt arrested and went to the press. If the same cop did someone for dropping a tenner then I can believe he was just blowing.
