    Default shark fin aerial

    hi guys after a shark fin aerial to replace the standard one, has to be a working one so the radio works. any one got an idea were I can get these from?

    Its not exactly a sharkfin but iv got a richbrook one. There was a thread about them a little while ago. You can get them from most places, halfords ebay etc...
    It just screws into the original place so everything still works perfectly Takes about 30 secs to do, its anti-theft too

    None of the shark fins I've seen have had a washer jet for the rear screen, as on the vx ariel base fitted to hatchbacks. They'll be fine on a saloon (no rear wash/wipe), there's a thread somewhere, how2 possibly, by someone who fitted one, looked good. I was thinking of maybe moding one.

    that is cool a little, not my cup o tea as it still has an aerial, I want just shark fin, do the halfrauds ones work?? I've seen a few BMW ones for sale and I was woundering if I could get that to work. cheers for the reply

    Not trying to Hi-Jack!

    If anyone finds any VERY low-profile shark-fins let me know. Got two holes in my ex-plod mobile. And I wanted to buy a couple of shark fins in it. Rather than trying to make it look like a police (which I really don't), I just fancied filling the grommet with silicone bath sealant holes (worse than it sounds).

    Don't think the shark fins have the rear washer jet in them.

    I fitted a shark fin aerial to my siggy but had to modifi it slightly. also airbrushed it to match the colour of the car.

    The one on my siggy is a low profile shark fin mate, Ill take a picrure of it let me know if it anygood for your car as they are very cheap to buy at a motor shop near me.
