    Default Supaglass???

    Hi everyone,
Just wondering if any of you have ever heard of Supaglass? I've been told by a mate that they supply and fit a security flim to the insides of your door windows that make them stay in one piece if they are smashed...
And they can be tinted if you want. As there have been alot of you getting your windows tinted and no one has posted anythink about security film. I'm giving it some thought, So any advice would be welcome...
    Thanks Mark...

PS, I was also told this stuff has a Thatcham Q Listed rating, Would this help with insurence???

These are the guys that did my tints and this is the security film they deal with...

They'd be able to answer any questions. If you ring, Kevin is the guy to speak to.

But a normal tint film will offer a good degree of security as they have to fight their way through that film. Obviously the security films are tougher/thicker so offer a better degree of security.

As you have factory tinted rear windows, a clear (proper) security film may be your best bet - given the reason I'm guessing you're thinking about this stuff!

Your right D, It's the thought of parking my car in Hackney (the in-laws). It makes me a little worried.

But saying that it worries me more using my car as a dam good reason not to god there. The wife would KILL me...

Mark, when i had my tints done (in plymouth ) they also told me they are "security films",so i asked him to show me, so he did.He had a drivers door with glass in and a covering of tint on it, then he got a hammer, smashed the glass and the tint wasn't torn anywhere..Fantastic and a 5 year cover as well.
