    Default Nearside/offside help.

Just want to confirm i have fitted my sensors correctly. I have fitted them a-b-c-d from lefthandside passanger side (offside)2 righthandside drivers side (nearside).

Isn't the passenger side called the nearside, and the driver side called the offside?

Each sensor should be connected to the correct port on the controller module as per the instructions.

As to whether the nearside/offside matters, I suppose it may depend on the kit you have fitted. If it's just one that beeps based on the distance to the nearest object (regardless of whichever sensor picks it up) then it may not matter which way round they are.

But if it's a kit with a screen that shows you the distance of obstacles from each sensor then it may show everything reversed between left and right.
