Just want to confirm i have fitted my sensors correctly. I have fitted them a-b-c-d from lefthandside passanger side (offside)2 righthandside drivers side (nearside).
Isn't the passenger side called the nearside, and the driver side called the offside?
Nearside is nearest the curb. (passenger side)
so i have fitted them ns too offside a-b-c-d had a look at the manual and thats the way they are pictured, the how 2 says fit them os too ns. Is there any problems with fitting the wrong way aslong as the follow order.
Each sensor should be connected to the correct port on the controller module as per the instructions.
As to whether the nearside/offside matters, I suppose it may depend on the kit you have fitted. If it's just one that beeps based on the distance to the nearest object (regardless of whichever sensor picks it up) then it may not matter which way round they are.
But if it's a kit with a screen that shows you the distance of obstacles from each sensor then it may show everything reversed between left and right.
cheers thats the info i was looking for the guy that did the how 2 must have had screen thats why he was specific about sensor flow.
will post pics tommorrow.
