Side lights should be banned.....

from being used when the engine is running. Time and time again i (only just) see utter fools driving in fog and rain with just their side lights on. Some without lights on at all Whats wrong with these idiots??? Why??? IMO side lights should only be used as parking lights and therefore only work when the engoine is off.

To be honest I will use my sidelights if I am being 'lazy' and want to see my speedo better etc... but when visibility becomes poor I pop the dips on

It's because a lot of people have the attitude "well I can see just fine". The problem is that we can't see those idiots that think they can see fine
