    Default Timing Belt or Chain

Hi Guys, sorry if this has been asked before, but i need a quick answer before my local garage rip me off.

I have a 2003 2.2 LS Vauxhall Vectra, the garage have told me they need to replace the timing belt but i am sure its a timing chain, so,

Is it a belt or a chain.

    Thanks in advance

    Pete

If it's the petrol version mate then it's a timing chain and not a belt.

Maybe they wanted to change the chain? Not sure why they would though.
