    Default Idle when clutch down

    Hi
I was wondering if anyone can help me?
    I have a 2003 Vectra C 2.2i with 65K miles on the clock.
Recently, when slowing down and depressing the clutch the car drops to idle and it goes lumpy - the revs drop to about 500rpm then up to 900rpm a few times before levelling out around 900rpm.
The car starts fine, and the lumpyness only occurs briefly when slowing down with the clutch down.
What might be causing this and how do I fix it?
    Thanks.

This sounds like an old problem from the X20XEV engine, so does anyone know if this engine has an Idle Air Control Valve (IAC)?
