gettin old ???

Well..I have had to go on sick leave due to tendonitis in my left wrist..(bl00dy painful !!) the doc says that ive got to keep it strapped up and rest it for 2 weeks....no lifting, driving, manual work, or anything else that involves the wrist..!!!

It seems that since I turned 41 Ive been dropping to bits,....

Is it just me or do other members who are still in thier prime..of course..
find themselves getting ill more easily, or taking meds for this and that or injure themselves more easily than when they were younger ?????

Are we (sorry...I) getting old ?????

my kids even call me the "old man" now...might as well start looking at rest homes..!!!

We shant ask what you've been doing to get the injury in the first place!

Not yet! I'm 36 (37 in a month) and whilst not as fit as when in my twenties, I haven't started falling apart - yet!

I think now is an opportune moment to pipe up and tell you all i'm a sprightly 28 years of age, but still ache like ******y!

It seems that the 40's are when things start getting a bit creaky. I get various aches and pains (I'm 47) and see a chiropracter to help my back.
I was also diagnosed with type 2 diabetes a year ago, which was a bit of a shock! It's made me lose a lot of weight and get fit -but that's set off an old injury to my right knee.
Oh, and there's the varifocals, too. My Doctor told me that I was at a dangerous age. "Funny", I said, "I don't feel dangerous".

I suppose you're not really old until you start looking at those emails that are trying to sell you Viagra, and comparing prices!
In my head I'm still about 23, though. I keep expecting to grow up, but it's not happening.....

yeah lads i feel just the same 42 true age in my head 18 but i feel like 60, theres hope for us all yet.

Same here, 45 in 2 weeks, still think i'm a 25 year old, ache like a 65 year old........

Same here mate,I'm 43 and ALL my joints ache.My advise to anyone.Dont do weights,just stay fat and healthy.

I've had a broken pelvis and 2 badly broken wrists all of which had to be fixed by major surgery, 10 years ago...
