    Default alloy wheel

    i went on motorway and felt steering vibration so i went to garage and he sed my balancin and trackin was out, he also mentioned da one of the tyres had to put 90 gram on it but after dis the same problem so den da garage swapd front tyres and bak so i went bak on motorway and then the bak was vibratin so it luks like the wheel is damaged but i cant see where it is damaged could this be repaired??

    or the garage have bodged the balancing

    well worth a second "opinion" get it balanced else where - vx's are critical on wheel balancing

    balance is usually done when a tyre is changed it is the tyre that is out of balance maybe a duff one get asecond opinion from anther balance shop.....

    yeh but a damaged wheel can throw the balance out something cronic

    lol i will keep it in english in the future,

    the vibration starts at about 60mph, the guy at the garage said one of the wheels was not balancing properly and has extra weights onit he said the average wheel will have 20 grams on it and he put 90 gram on that 1 to balance it, so im gonna go kwik fit tommorrow see what they say

    90 is alot, i would suggest your rim is damaged buddy, if its enough to notice on the back then its not good, ive lost count of the wheels ive balanced and theres a few that were 100 or more grams and the wheel has always been damaged

    i have the vectra design rims and have been told it is very hard to find just one to buy and that is most likely i will need to buy a new set, does anyone know where i may find on from?
