I assume that you want an ignition live point...

If so, there are some in the UEC (under bonnet fuse board).
some technical person will come along soon and tell you which fuse / relay point to take your feed from.

There is a light feed from the bcm, in the back of the glove box...
Just for driving the cig lighter back-lighting circuit.

The BCM has 78 pins in the main connector.
You would require pin number - 74...grey/yellow wire

hope that helps....note it will not affect the can-bus, and will not need tech 2.

How you going to overcome the standard bulbs holders and wiring not being used? it will still need to be connected or a bulb in to stop bulb warnings etc wouldn't it...

yeah m8 going to tape old sidelights up with bulbs in and use a custom feed from the cig lighter circuit to some wires with donor bulb holders on for the led bulbs...shouldn't get any strobing then (he hopes)lol

Very good, just remember you've taped the old ones up, because in 6 months you might be stood at the front of your car scratching your head because it says a side light is out but there both still lit

Just a thought, with the old holders can you just put some wire in there? or would it need to be a bulb??

My granddad on my 1st car bodged my fan that way so it kicked in when the engine was running as it was temperamental so kept over heating... would it work with the bulbs and warning system?...
