Default Thatís it ive had enough!

    Hi
I have a 06 plate Vectra which is great in every respect apart from the plastic clip that says ďactiveĒ on the slot for the passenger head rest that, when no one is in it Rattles away on every little bump in the road right in my left ear.
Iíve put up with it for now, but I cant take any more Ė can these things be replaced with another one Ė do they come off.

There isnít a Haynes manual for the face lifted cars yet AFAIK and I donít fancy shelling out full price for the version of the Haynes manual that there is already there

    Many Thanks

remove the head rest - does the noise still come from the same area ??

if not then swap for YOUR head rest and see what happens ...

might be a loose bit in the headrest
sure you could buy another or swap it out for one of the others so you cant hear it

    Hi
its The plastic clip with the button on it thats on the top of the seats that the headrest slots into - i know this becasue ive put my finger on it when driving and that stops it its the actual button itsself that wobbles.

Ill try swapping the headrests around and see if that makes a differnece, but then I could go down the sellotape and blutack route but i want it to look right - i suppose it like when you put a bit of sellotape on the hinge of your glasses lol! - it works but it dosent look right
