Smile Advice on poor workmanship by a bodyshop

    hi guys

Am really angry/ upset my car was rear ended then pushed into a wall on the 13/01/2010 and towed to Ringways ford in leeds. It was not actually that badly damaged it just needed a new front and rear bumper and a tail light and after going up the kerb caused the tracking out of alignment. Anyway on going to collect the car the bumpers are now shiney and the paint looks dull and they say the third partys insurance wont pay for the car to be buffed- is this correct?

Also i now have paint damage where they have worked which they deny..

    and here

also i asked the manager to spot there obvious mistake here which he couldnt!.........

Take the car back & tell your insurance you are not happy with the work

Yes i think they should. Insurance is there for you to replace as the item was, before an accident.

Of course it should be buffed, the guy's clearly a t1t & doesn't deserve paying in washers.

Just don't accept it back until the works are done to a satisfactory standard.
