    confused Drop links

    I had some new tyres on my car today and the garage said i need new drop links ( he said he could twist them with hes hands and they should be solid ). What do you guys think? . Would i notice the difference when i drive if they were ng?

    Just some knocking from the front mate. There very easy to fit yourself, just 2 bolts each side, there is a how 2 for them in the relevant section. They have to move any way as there attached to the stationery anti role bar and the constantly twisting shock.

    If the car seems to move around a lot when you're trying to drive in a straight line, as if the road is very bumpy, or there's a strong side wind, that's an indication that you might need new drop links.

    Id say thats more like tracking or even shock's.

    No, that's the anti-roll bar unable to do it's job properly, due to excess movement in the bushes. I had it in mine, plus a crunching noise, just before christmas; changing the ARB bush fixed it. The play came back this month, this time with a knocking noise instead of crunching, and changing the drop links has fixed it.
