    Default Langar Airfield

Does anybody know if you can take your car here? My brother turns 17 soon so thinking of taking him here so he can get some general practice in in how to use a clutch etc.

Loads of my mates have said they've took their cars here and had a blast but drove past today on the way to a job and was loads of cars parked up outside the control tower.

Done a bit of checking and the control tower is used by a parachute club and apparently some of the runways are still in use for gliders etc so not too sure if i should go or not incase i get done for tresspassing.

Can anyone shed some light please? would be a great nice open space for him to practice so theres no chance of the Veccy being written off hehe

    Yeh it is indeed Gibbon.

Hmmm maybe people go on there "illegally" then as such. oh well, back to the drawing board, any ideas of nice open tarmac for driving lessons would be great.

we used to go down there with the quads and so on, only a few years back.

They started digging massive holes all over the place. Not so much fun no more.

Although admittedly it has been 2-3 years now.
