    Default HELP Tyre wear

Hi guys, today i took the veccy to get the front wheels balanced because they were doing my head in shaking like mad. When the rims were off the car i noticed the drivers side badly worn on the inside edge and passanger side slighlty worn on inside standard 16 inch design rims on standard suspension! So my question is what is causing this, wheel alignment??

P.s after getting them balanced it doesnt shake at 70 anymore lol

Is tracking different from wheel alignment? Is it expensive to get sorted?

would be worth getting 4-wheel alignment/ geometry done to be honest as the rears should be set up first to achieve the correct thrust angle ( center line thru car) then the fronts set against this, as well as the wheel alignment being done it's worth getting the camber checked and if necessary pulled in a bit more so as to make the camber angle slightly more positive than it is, as, too much negative camber will cause inside tyre wear, this is all providing there is no significant wear in any of the suspension components, any decent wheel alignment centre should be able to check the components for you, as any that or badly worn should be changed before getting the alignment done. cheers for the replys, i was plannig on changing the tyres soon anyway because when i bought it there was crappy wanli tyres on it that are terrible in the wet and noisey on the motorway so when i get the new tyres il get the 4 wheel alignment and camber done.

How many miles do the front tyres have on them?
Inside edge wear is very common with 20K miles or more, especially if they have only been fitted to the front

It may be domed speed bumps - if you straddle them then the inside edges end up on the camber, which causes excessive wear . When you drive over them put one tyre on the middle and one on the flat.
