    Default help please---sepecially sri ppl

    Hi,
I changed my upper control arms on friday. When i got there i noticed both my rear springs were completely snapped. Standard vauxhall i guess. I desperately hunted around for some new springs as i needed it done quickly. I bought some and fitted them. However i think that the motor factors have given me the springs for a standard vec whereas mine is a sri (lowered sports chassis). There seems to be a bigger gap between the wheel and wheel arch on the back then on the front. Im guessing the gap should be the same all the way around.

Is this the wrong suspension or will the springs compress down over time to even out. I need to know before i phone the motor factors and tell them off.

Its just so hard to check because the stupid computer systems never seem match up with my car and I couldnt measure the springs against the old ones as they were snapped.

    Any ideas???

    Cheers
    Josh

ring the motor factors and ask them what springs they have supplied.....I have a standard height spring and sri height spring courtesy of my local quick fit.....they only supply standard as sri are for the lowered sports chassis....HTH
