As far as im aware the indicator is only linked to the front drivers side brake pads.

When you renew your pads, buy a sensor from stealers and refit light will dissapear ,no need for tech 2.

its a con more than likley you have to buy the wire which brakes when you change pads ,only about £15 my dad has just joined the wires and it goes out but obviously you know when your pads are quite low i personally would buy it but on my vec the previous owner just left it now mines on all the time

    Ok, to clarify:

The warnign light is for the front brake pads. If sensor works by being worn down when the pads are worn to break the cicuit, so when replacing the pads you need a new sensor, or as mentioned above you simply strip and attach the two wires together. This is what I did, as I refused to waste £10 on a sensor that I can do the job of by simply USING MY EYES...

The rear pads do not have a sensor on them.
