    Default Home made Crossover

    Hey all,

Anyone made a home made Passive Crossover before?

I'm looking for a little help for a sub box - can I just put a capacitor in line with the positive terminal to eliminate the high frequencies?

    All help greatfully received!

Not quite a crossover network needs an inductor and resistor to work properly

I just need to eliminate all but sub 250Hz sound to the subwoofer. Does that need a cross over network?

i take it u dont have a sub rca out back of the headunit cause if u have that will only allow the bass through to the amp and on to sub.

if u dont have there is normally a switch on the amp with full, lpf, and hpf if it has that then put it to lpf low pass filter and should allow only bass through.

gives you the ability to adjust where it cuts in too.....
