    Default Machine Polishing

Well Ive just bought myself a machine polisher as my car has a good coverage of swirls and i want to tackle it properly... However I've never used one before.

I have some megs stage 1 and 2 paint correction stuff (cant remember the proper names as theyr in the car), so can i use these with the machine polisher? I know after ive done this it will need a coating of wax, and i thought i had some but i recently found out on here its cleaner wax (zymol).

So should i use the stage one and two or the cleaner wax? Also is there any reccomendations on some wax that is fairly cheap and does a good job?

    Cheers

There are many wax,s out there that cost less than £30. Colinite 915 seems to be the "benchmark" for durability. It is quite popular on here too. Though there is now a lot of interest in Sealents, they seem to becoming very good and popular too. I sometimes use both, putting the wax on last.

Thanks for that il have a look around. As soon as i'd posted this i remembered that im going to the meet at autobrite in a couple of weeks so il probably just wait till after that to see how the polishing is done properly. The only problem is my apartment is on the 2nd floor and theres no outside taps so i cant even wash my own car here When i lived at home my old one was washed a few times a week but it gets a bit neglected here

jlock. I suppose you could always pop home and give your motor a good detailing, that is if it is not too far away.
