Default What do you think ?

    Hi all,
a month or 2 ago I had the bonnet of my car resprayed. unfortunatley I never really go the chance to closely inspect it as I had a bump less than a week later which ended up requiring a new front bumper lights, grill etc, thankfully the bonnet was untouched....now i have the car back and its looking really sharp and clean again i have now noticed a slight difference in colour tone between the bonnet and the wings when viewed on a bright day !?. its very slighlty darker....great quality though...
I went back to where i had the job done (3 year warranty on paint job), and he says that he will have to spray the top edges of the wings in the same coulour to blend the new paint on the bonnet into the rest of the wing where it joins, then clear laquer over the top....
is this the correct way of doing things? I aint got any paint and matching experience.....(by the way the cars silver)
Either way its going in next tuesday, and being done FOC....

normaly paint shops will blow over onto other panels to blend in the paint work. This eliminates the shade difference and because of the lines it wouldnt be so noticable.

Yes its normal, do the tops and dust over lightly a bit further down the panels or bumpers to blend it in...

Yup that's the way to do it and FYI silver is the worst colour to match and usually stands out a country mile...
    Ken-tec FTW.
