    hi m8 just abit of advice if u havent used a set keep ur head well back from them some times clamps slip

    yes they would do the job. if you can get them the ones with two claws each end are safer.

    I'm calling at a couple of places my end to find some decent ones before fleabay, just dont wanna waste money on something i'll use once ha...

    while on this... are the 2.2 sri ARB bushes the 24mm jobbies, or 25.2mm

    I think when I lowered my Astra, I just picked up a two-pronged set from Halfrauds. I had single ones before and they do slip as said above.

    Also as said above, do keep your head clear of them. When compressed they have a lot of stored energy and will go off like a rocket.

    I bought some from Halfords, they are made by Laser, perfect for the job and safe as they have two feet, cost £20 although I got trade card discount on the also. Remember to do up and undo them evenly and ensue you have the springs under tension with the clamps before removing top mount.

    Dint get chance to look today, got day off tomo... was gonna just use insulation tape if get the 1 pronged ones - should give better grip...
