    Default Pot holes!!!

Coming back from my mums tonight up a dark road and the mother of all pot holes appeared before me. This hole, after stopping to examine, it was literally about a foot deep and 3 foot long.... U could see the different layers of tarmac and concrete in the pothole's walls.... There were 2 more people at the side of the road before me with tyre damage from it.
Well after I hit that the tyre and alloy appear ok (touch wood) but i'm pulling to the left now. How it didn't destroy my wheel I really dunno but I thank every god i can think of for not destroying it.
Gonna have to get my tracking / suspension looked at tmrw and see what the damage is. Hopefully (touching wood again) it's just knocked the tracking off, but we'll see.
The council need to sort these out because i've seen a few pot holes here and there and they're uncomfortable to bounce off but this one was absoloutly RIDICULOUS !!!

The roads are a shambles at the moment not helped with all this ice and snow weve just had , yet local councls think its just fine to stick a dollop of tarmac down and leave it to re-appear a month later instead of repairing it properly

Near Reading on Wednesday: had to make a fairly dramatic swerve to avoid falling into the pit of doom - I could see molten lava flowing at the bottom of it (okay, maybe it was two feet across and a few inches deep, but would have made a nasty mess of something). Luckily there wasn't anything coming the other way

In all fairness (and I don't work for the council) there have been hundreds I have noticed on my drive to work appear from the snow. It was on the radio today they were going to spend zillions sorting them but they will (obviously) take a while to get round them all.

Go and take a pic of it for evidence..

then take that to the council with the bill for correction.. it may take some going but they will pay.. I got a new alloy out of my local council by doing the same on my car before the vec.
