Default Restore or just buy new?

ive got the 18 inch replica VXR's on mine at the moment and there badley in need of restoration. ive been quoted around 440 quid from most places to get them done in the colour i want. ive now noticed that LMF are doing the same wheels in the same colour i want (Polished and gunmetal) for £495. id pick the wheels up myself to save the £40 shipping as well

So New or Refurb? ive got a mate who can swap my tyres over for free so its just a case of £50. saying that i might be able to sell my current ones off as well.

    Hummmmmm?

Probably as well getting the new ones, as it'll cost you extra to get them coloured if you refurbed!

your refurb quote is well over the top i think i would be doing alot more ringing round for a better price, most place are between £50-£60 per wheel for shot blasting, repairing and then finishing.

ahh right. ive just been trying the big places at the moment. im having to pay to leave the car at most places as i dont have any tempory wheels to stick on it.

would there be any advatage/disadvantage to having brand new wheels over refurbs? or vise versa?
