    Default HID Flickering, solved?

Just about to install my HID's myself so have yet to find out if either it will trip the computer or have the lights flash, was browsing flea-bay and found these:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HID-DECODER-BU...item2304f598a3

    and

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2x-HID-Kit-Com...item4a9ab941c0

As you can see they resolve all issues with canbus systems etc...

Anyone use these with good reports?

I am actually contemplating holding off installing the xenons and perhaps order 1 off the 2 items above as a fail safe.

Already had mine ordered unfortunately then decided to look at the how to's - as have installed them 3-4 times in cars that didnt have the "canbus" etc so the above seem to be a decent option if found flickering

Just fitted them in the rain and darkness - didnt have to remove bumper or headlamp units, tight fit on the drivers side but was all good, easily remove the lights, only footery connecting the wiring and seal at the same time

No warning on the Computer, and no flickering, I either ordered a decent set or am a lucky git - well happy with the results!!

Only question is, how do the guys align the lights for MOT on the vectra and is this affected by the xenons?

The dipped beam flickering would annoy me, but not getting that, only a warning message..which hopefully those will fix, if they dont fix them then wont really be that bothered as the worst case is you click okay to remove it

However got Sidelight xenon effect LED's that are fantastic, nearly the same brightness as the lights lol, they flicker for about 10 seconds like a police light, looks pretty cool actually.

I got led sidelights yesterday, fitted them to my car and they flicker all the time, the only time they don't is when i have them turned on.
They flicker everytime you do something to the car, whether it be open a door, lock the car, open the car.
If you don't have the lights on when driving in daylight they will be flickering.
Is there anything you can do to stop them from flickering?
I think the reason they flicker is because when the car is doing something, the ecu is sending signals to check if all the bulbs are working and thats why you get the error on the dash board, could be wrong. Just wanting to know a way which you could stop it or would i have to go back to the boring bulbs :/
