    Default Mercedes AMG Alloys

Hey guys, i just bought a set of 18" VXR reps off Danboy at LMF and finally got around to fitting them today, however... i dont think i like them!!

So after spending £700 plus on alloys an tyres i now find myself looking for another set, and came across these... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...1#ht_500wt_956

    Couple pf questions tho...

    1) Will they fit?

    2) What will they look like on a vec?

    cheers Andy

That ebay page doesnt seem to give alot of the vital info you need.

When i was looking for alloys i found alloywheels.com to be a reasonable priced site with a massive selection.

In the end though i bought mine from a local wheel warehouse that priced matched that site and fitted them for free (not bad to say they dropped from £850 to £690... lol shows how much they were making on them in first place)

The reason u prob dont like them is cos there 18s, 19s am sure u would like better cos they fit the car better, so dont waste another £700 buyin 18s, save abit more and get 19s!! I got black 18s on mine and always wish i had went for 19s, they look ok but if ad got 19s they'd look amazing

those AMG's should fit, as long as the ET (offset) is around 35, which it probably will be.

you will need wobbly bolts (or pcd correction bolts) and custom spigot rings as the bore of the wheels is very slightly bigger than the vecs hub. and there arent any spigot rings small enough to buy.

I have Brabus reps on my vec, 19x8.5 ET35 with 225/35 tyres.
for the spigot rings i got the smallest plastic ones i could find (inner 65.1mm, outer 67mm) and slowly tightened the wheel over them, this squashed the spigot ring to the correct size. Had them for about 3 years now with no problems.

Ive used wobbly nuts before but was advised by several places not to.

They did the job for me but was told they aint really recomended. I never had any trouble though

haha wobbly bolts!! not even sure what they are but sound funny!!

so the short answer is yes they will fit, but i have to use wobbly bolts, spacers, and make sure the offset is circa 35?

thanks for all the help guys!
